Have the courts placed your children in harm’s way despite evidence of abuse? Has justice for you and your children been denied? If so, you have been confronting the crisis in the family courts. And you are not alone.

 

How can we fix the family courts? With a committed and vocal group of parents who are willing to share their stories and advocate for policies that can repair the broken aspects of the system. 
 

What can you do? Harness your power and become a leader in the nationwide movement for family court reform!

 

SILENT NO LONGER: Empowered Women of Color Confronting the Family Court Crisis
A leadership development program offered by the Center for Judicial Excellence thanks to a generous grant from the Community Action Fund of the Women’s Foundation of California Friday Evening, March 11th – Sunday, March 13th, 2011  At the Headlands Institute, beautifully situated on the pristine Marin Headlands, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Be part of this extraordinary weekend of healing, sharing, learning, and strategizing, as we prepare to take our movement to the next level in 2011. Space is limited, so please apply early. If your application is accepted, you will be invited to participate in the program at no cost to you. The program includes: lodging, meals, and all workshops and materials. English-Spanish translation and interpretation services will be provided.
